Archives 1990-1998

During these years I worked primarily in gouache on paper, exploring ideas about the natural world that are sometimes scientific, sometimes mythological. Often the images suggest archeological relics or fragments. Each of these paintings represents an entire series consisting of anywhere from 15 to 40 works. In 1997 I began developing my techniques with acrylic on wood panel, represented by the last 3 pieces.
